By the Sea

With my recent obsession with The Edge of Love, I couldn't help but dress inspired by the movie this morning! I just got this lovely 1940s dress in the mail from S. Vintage on Etsy! I was thrilled when I found it and didn't think twice before I snatched it up. It's so hard to find printed 40s dresses these days.

Anyway, I had a great day! I went to my favorite vintage shop and found the sweetest 40s dress I think I've ever seen! It'll be going in my shop this week. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! :o)

You're so right, 40s print dresses (especially cute ones) are so hard to find. I can see why you snatched that one up right away, it's amazing! :)

Gorgeous photos! I'd love to be near the water. I live a little too far inland for my preferences ;) And, I just adore your dress and sweater. The colors are so rich and lovely.

I enjoyed the movie stills in your previous post. I haven't seen "The Edge of Love" yet, but I'm on a waiting list for it at the library :)
