Monkey Business

I can't believe it's been almost a week since my last post! Things have been very busy, in a good way though. I've been doing lots of shopping for my shop and lots of sewing on my 40s sailor dress, which is almost done! Today I was inside working all day listing things on Etsy, which might explain my silly faces. Though, I'm really quite silly all the time, so that's no excuse, hehe.

I'm wearing a 40s dress that you might remember from awhile back when it was ankle length. I decided to hem it so it was more wearable. I'm so happy I did because now I wear it all the time! This has also pretty much been what my fall wardrobe has looked like. Everyday I seem to put on a 40s dress, a cardigan, knee socks and boots. Oh yes and my trusty hat!

I hope everyone is well, talk soon! :o)

*Monkey Business is a Cary Grant movie worth seeing, like all Cary Grant movies! It has Marilyn and Ginger too!

That dress is so cute! I've been looking for a 40s dress in a similar style like that forever. I didn't see yours before it was shortened, but it looks so fabulous now!
And I agree, pretty much any movie with Cary Grant is a winner!

Based on your last two posts I'd say blue is your color! You look adorable in both!

You are way, way too cute! :) I just love this outfit--it's everything perfect for autumn.

Monkey Business is a favorite of mine! I love those sort of screwball comedies, and Cary Grant always did the best ones, imho. ;)

What a great dress!! I agree--it's so much prettier shorter, and with the cardigan and boots you look straight out of The Edge of Love!

I love your outfit! You did well hemming it. I always hesitate to hem old dresses. I feel it's not right. But then, you can wear it easily, like you said. If you can't wear a dress you love, what's the point?!
